Our PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PROCESS briefly explained:
A good idea is worth its weight in gold. We'll help you implement it.
💡 INNOVATION:
An idea becomes a list of requirements, and concepts are developed on this basis. Anything is allowed here: crazy ideas, new combinations of principles, and lots of creativity. The team searches for and evaluates concepts using various creativity techniques.
⚙ ENGINEERING:
An idea/concept becomes a solution. All components are designed, engineered, and specified. This also determines the manufacturing processes and closely involves the component manufacturers in the development process.
👩🔧 TESTING:
Whether on a test bench or manually, every solution is thoroughly tested. This means that a test is defined for each requirement in the specifications. Several samples undergo testing before the design department receives approval for procurement.
🛳 PROCUREMENT:
We coordinate the procurement of all components worldwide prior to the first series assembly. For series production of more than 500 units, tool-dependent manufacturing processes (plastic injection molding, die casting, stampings) are often chosen. This means procurement times of several months for initial sample parts.
🏭 SERIAL PRODUCTION:
The 0-series marks the transition of the product into series production. By this time, all production resources have been developed, assembled, and tested. This also defines all calibration and testing steps in the production process. All products are assembled, tested, and packaged ready for sale.
