POWERFUL PARTNERSHIP
We have been working on projects for renowned customers in the coffee industry for over 10 years. This has resulted in expertise that has led us to a new partnership.
HELFEZI AG has more than 30 years of experience in the development and distribution of high-precision Swiss grinding discs. Felix Schmid and his team have spent decades optimising the grinding of coffee beans with the aim of getting the most out of every bean.
This has fallen on fertile ground with us, as Felix's experience complements our proven development expertise, from prototypes to series production and in-house production of first-class components. This has resulted in state-of-the-art built-in coffee grinders for catering machines with completely new possibilities in terms of flexibility and quality standards.

THE GRINDER – THE HEART OF THE SYSTEM
The fineness and uniformity of the ground coffee determine how well the coffee's ingredients dissolve during the brewing process, thus influencing the taste, balance and character of the coffee, i.e. how well the aromas unfold in the cup.
The grinder is one of the decisive factors in meeting today's demands for in-cup quality. For operators, it is not only the one-off cup result that is decisive, but rather aspects such as reproducibility, controllability, durability and ease of servicing.
OUR GRINDING DISCS
One of the core components of our built-in mills are the HELFEZI grinding discs, which meet the highest standards of grinding quality and reproducibility.
A key USP is the specially developed, environmentally friendly TDC coating, which significantly reduces wear, friction and corrosion, requires no grinding-in and ensures consistent grinding quality. Together with the exceptional edge sharpness of this Swiss-made product, we guarantee an extremely long service life.

WHY ALL THAT?
We much prefer to focus on better solutions! Nevertheless, here are a few pointers to current problems: 1. Classic built-in grinders are not designed for consistent quality, but primarily for cost optimisation at all levels. 2. The service life of standard grinding discs is extremely limited and their cutting geometry does not achieve uniform particle size reduction over a longer period of time. 3. The grind setting is usually imprecise or only possible in coarse steps, which means that it is only possible to achieve a rough adjustment to different coffee varieties, roasts or humidity levels. 4. Added to this is a lack of modularity, which does not allow the mill or grinding discs to be specifically tailored to specific requirements. 5. Mechanical instability, play in the bearings or unbalanced components also lead to a noisy grinding process and increased wear. 6. In practice, this results in inconsistent coffee quality, more frequent cleaning and maintenance intervals, and unwanted downtime. 7. This increases service costs, operating costs and the total cost of ownership, while the actual quality promise of the device and, above all, the beverage is not reliably fulfilled. Our conclusion: unsatisfactory from A to Z. That's exactly why we developed AromaX for you – Swiss Quality!
THE FINEST BUILT GRINDERS
With our different variants of horizontal and vertical built-in grinders, we provide a consistent answer to the weaknesses of classic solutions. Our grinders offer: – Uncompromising grinding quality – Durability with consistent performance – Precise, quiet mechanics – High serviceability 1. Modular design The modular design allows flexible integration into different device architectures and installation situations. Manufacturers retain maximum freedom in design, while precision and mechanical stability are fully maintained. 2. Stepless, high-precision grind adjustment Precise and stepless adjustment of the grind to the bean, roast and application profile. This allows the grinding to be optimised finely and reproducibly, without compromise. 3. Portioned feeding with complete emptying After each use, the grinder is completely emptied, consistently avoiding dead space. The result is fresh ground coffee with every cup. 4. Speed adjustment The variable speed allows the grinding process to be specifically tailored to different coffee varieties and desired flavour profiles. This allows optimal control of heat development, particle structure and grinding characteristics. 5. Minimal maintenance Easily accessible, removable components significantly simplify cleaning and servicing. This reduces downtime, lowers operating costs and increases reliability in daily use.
