EXO-T
The Weight Distributor is a portable tool weight compensator specially designed for use with heavy demolition hammers weighing up to 17 kg. It provides active weight compensation that automatically adjusts and balances the tool weight so that heavy tools such as demolition hammers and hammer drills appear almost weightless. This makes the handling easier and reduces fatigue, shoulder strain and back pain during repetitive and heavy wall work. The EXO-T has a BLDC motor, which uses a advanced electronics to determine and actively compensate for the weight of the tool. The demolition hammer can be raised or lowered using the remote control on the carrying unit.
The development of the EXO-T began in 2021 from the first functional sample by CEKA in collaboration with the customer. CEKA was responsible for the development of the mechanical design. The first tool-case samples for jobside tests were produced in 2022, with serial production starting at the beginning of 2024.
Sika Powercure
Sika PowerCure is a 2-component cartridge press system for fast curing adhesives and sealants specially developed for industrial applications. It offers accelerated curing, which considerably speeds up assembly processes compared to conventional 2-component adhesives. A technical highlight is the mechanical drive, which has a rack and pinion drive (component A), a precise quantity adjustment of component B and an active drive of the mixer.
The Sika PowerCure is available in two different size variants and is suitable for various applications, including vehicle construction, window installation and industrial assembly.
The development of the PowerCure system included mechanical and electronic development as well as the coordination of approval and industrial design by CEKA.
Torque module
The AT module is an adaptive torque module specifically designed for use with cordless impact wrenches. It automates the setting of screw parameters (torque and speed) and ensures that fasteners are installed correctly in accordance with approvals. The module is up to 30% faster than a conventional torque wrench, saving time with every fastening operation. It features an integrated QR/barcode scanner that can be used to identify the fasteners used to ensure precise preload.
The module was developed as a successor product for a new battery generation. The interfaces, camera module, and operation were completely redesigned. Development from the specifications was largely carried out in-house, with regular reporting to the customer. The engineering began in 2020 and entered serial production in early 2023.
PE-Rohr-Schweissspiegel
The welding plate, available in three different sizes, is a high-quality special tool that has been specially developed for plate welding PE pipes and fittings up to 315 mm in diameter. The welding plate has automatic temperature control and an operating display, which enable precise and safe handling. The Teflon coating makes it easy to clean and ensures the long-term use of the welding plate.
CEKA began developing in 2019, starting with the specifications for three product variants in collaboration with our customer. The welding mirror replaces a long-standing existing product and offers fundamentally improved properties. Various manufacturing processes such as die casting or gravity casting were evaluated for the heating plate as the core element. The heat distribution and surface quality were significantly improved in detail. New heat control electronics were also integrated into the design. The serial production was launched in 2022.
Collating systems
These drywall magazines have been specially developed for the fast and efficient fastening of strip-collated screws in lengths of 1 to 2 inches. The entirely mechanical feed mechanism is designed to be as compact as possible and insensitive to dirt, so that it works even under heavy plaster dust loads over several tens of thousands of fastenings. The magazines are ideal for fastening drywall panels to metal or wooden substructures and are available in various sizes.
We have been developing and producing screw magazines for various applications for our key partners for over 30 years. In doing so, we build on our extensive experience in magazine technology using various collation processes. In addition to countersunk screws, larger fastening screws (hexagon head screws) through to welding studs can also be collated.
Atemschutz-Gebläsesysteme
Our powered air purifying respirators (PAPR) have been specially developed for use in polluted and toxic environments. They are used to supply breathing air with a face mask or a welding/grinding helmet. In contrast to a simple FFP mask, the breathing air is actively filtered and supplied to the mask, eliminating filter resistance and making breathing easier.
The system has a radial blower developed in-house with integrated air volume measurement. It is also characterized by specially developed system batteries, which allow the most compact external dimensions possible.
The respiratory protection blower system is assembled and calibrated in Switzerland as a complete device with battery. The radial blower as a core assembly is pre-assembled and precision-balanced at our site in Jiaxing China.
Ring laser attachment
The BX-S is an innovative ring-laser-attachment that has been specially developed for direct fasteners (stud setters). It enables precise placement of fasteners and ensures uniform stud spacing without the need for prior marking. Equipped with a ring laser, it allows the fast and accurate positioning of fastening points. Its robust design makes it ideal for tough construction site use.
The basic development of the BX-S was carried out in collaboration with partners, while the final industrialization was developed by CEKA. A particular focus was placed on high precision, simple assembling and laser calibration to reduce assembly costs. Production started in 2022 and the BX-S has been available on the market ever since.
Turmix-Mixer
Like power tools, household appliances also have an electric drive, a gear system, and a plastic or aluminum housing. Based on our expertise in the field of power tools for construction site use, we have developed a line of kitchen appliances for the TURMIX brand that is just as functional, robust, and durable as a power tool.
The result is four devices that feature a variety of clever details. Equipped with a high-quality metal housing, they are designed for daily use for more than 10 years. Made in Switzerland.
